You can run a demo just as we have on our main site by following these instructions:
Create a web hosting account with a resolvable domain name. Something like demo.yourdomain.tld will work fine and you won't have to register it. Be sure to use a stand-alone account and not a sub-domain of an existing hosting account. Note: it is critical that you use a resolvable domain name or you will not see any images on your demo.
Using the zenadmin utility, activate the hosting account with a zen level of 'Instant Zen.' Note that you can still have a Zen Pro demo even though the account is set to Instant Zen.
Login to siteZen using this hosting account to activate it and test it out to make sure you can create a site. Make sure that images appear in the site. If they do not appear, it is likely that the domain for the demo account does not resolve.
Using the zenadmin utility, go to the Demo screen and enter the user-id for this hosting account.
Press Save Demo Settings and make sure no error message appears.
Select the features you want in the demo
Cut and paste the URL(s) into your site in an anchor tag (link). Be sure the target is set to zendemo and not _blank. This will ensure you won't ever have two demos running which will cause problems.
